About the Event
Experience Tasting :
We will be tasting four different Organic Teas from Paper & Tea, paired with homemade scones from two British recipes, served with Mariage Frères tea gelee, orange marmalade and clotted cream, alongside some finger sandwiches and more.
White Earl – N°107
A white tea from China scented with bergamot
Zesty bergamot pairs well not only with malty black teas. For this lighter version of the iconic Earl Grey blend, we’ve given our floral, fruity Chinese white a generous showering of luscious, all-natural bergamot aroma.
A second flush Darjeeling with Muscatel notes
A stout, complex and somewhat rugged Darjeeling cultivated in the dazzling heights surrounding the Himalayas. Ocher in hue, this expressive cup asserts its classical second flush palate with succulent fruit and full-bodied spice.
Yuzu Midori – N°328
An organic Japanese green tea blend with Kukicha, Matcha and yuzu citrus
This potent kukicha green tea blend, generously dosed with rich matcha powder and paired with the fragrant tart rinds of prized Japanese Yuzu citrus, makes for a delightfully refreshing, invigorating, nutritious bright green cup.
Green Rooibos – N°803
A non-oxidized version of the classic South African Rooibos
While green rooibos, or redbush, might seem like quite a contradiction, the concept is similar to green tea. Heated after harvest to prevent oxidation, our Green Rooibos produces a lively, peachy-sweet, no-caff brew, packed with vitamins and minerals.
