Herend Queen Victoria Bread Plate 15cm
This plate is in “Queen Victoria “ or 'Victoria avec Bord en Or' pattern, marvelous hand painted, with lovely various butterflies and flowers, gold trimmed, in perfect condition.
According to Herend's literature, "this Chinese-influenced pattern demands the skills of Herend's most talented and experienced painters."
The floral and foliate pattern includes butterflies and other garden insects with a different design on every plate. It was first introduced in 1851 for the First World Exhibition in London and was named in the honor of Queen Victoria.
Marked with a blue Herend shield stamp and numbered.
