Chinoiserie
A style of art popular in Europe from the late 17th to the early 19th century. Based on Chinese taste and fused with the Rococo style, it was used in architecture, furniture, and decoration, and was especially prevalent in ceramics.
Herend's "chinoiserie" patterns are modelled after Chinese and Japanese porcelain, and are woven with Herend's rich sense of playfulness to create a unique charm.
